Master Pianist & Vocalist James M. Day is a self-taught pianist, believing that life's experience is the best teacher an artist can have. His creative influences are Joe Sample, Jeff Lorber, Bryan Culbertson, Chick Corea, Art Tatum, Bruce Hornsby, Pat Metheny, Taylor Eigsti, Julian Lage, Bela Fleck, Dave Matthews, Stevie Wonder, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson, Matthew Bellamy, many many more. In the next year James plans to focus more on writing and performing his own musical arrangements and also release a album of his original compositions by the end of 2009, bringing together the skills and emotions that have shaped his musical life to this point.
