"Lily Alunan's voice is rich in quality and her music is very entertaining." -Pete Escovedo, legendary percussionist Fresh off her sold-out concerts at Yoshi's Oakland and the Rrazz Room in San Francisco, and with a voice described as "smooth and velvety", as well as a style that's "elegant but passionate", Bay Area jazz vocalist Lily Alunan continues her celebration of her second CD, "So In Love", at the Broadway Bar & Grill.
A classically-trained artist, this graceful and beautiful singer truly has something for everyone. Lily pays homage to her eclectic musical influences (which include Ella, Stevie Wonder, Jobim & Sergio Mendes) with a diverse repertoire of jazz standards, Brazilian sambas, Broadway and movie themes, as well popular hits of the 60's and 70's. Accompanying Lily will be acclaimed keyboardist Henry Concepcion and Rolly Delfino on drums.
